About Point Paradise Stables
Point Paradise Stables is owned and operated by Clayton and Kristen Vetter. Located in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, we provide horse drawn rides for all occasions all year around & the Patch on the Point (Pumpkin Patch) ever fall.
Kristen (Dufault) grew up on the family farm we call Point Paradise Stables. She currently works as an Adult Outreach Coordinator for the North Dakota School for the Deaf/Resource Center.
Clayton was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota. He served in the North Dakota Army National Guard from 2001 until 2012 including a tour in Afghanistan. Clayton is a Manager at Forks Lath & Plaster in Emerado, ND.
Clayton and Kristen married in 2009 and now have two beautiful daughters who love all the critters on the farm especially the horses.
THE SHIRE HORSES:
We are so fortunate to have two rare grey English Shires: John Whittaker and Tanner. The 'boys' measure 18.2 hands and weigh over 2000 lbs each. They were imported at a young age from London and Wales to be part of a six horse grey Shire hitch. John Whittaker and Tanner were shown in various cart classes before we purchased them in September of 2011. We would like to thank the Kent Wilson Jones Company for importing this great team and for the opportunity to have these amazing post-show horses become members of the Point Paradise Stables family.
